Small Bungalow goes Modern in Toronto
This small bungalow needed a major renovation to meet the needs of today’s family.
The entire main floor was gutted, removing old plaster walls to create an open concept. Structural support was added and the entire area was reinsulated before new drywall was installed. Plumbing and heating was re-routed and new electrical system was also installed. The new kitchen features black granite counters and an island offers extra storage and serves as a dining table. The clients requested a unique hand-scrapped, old-world walnut floor for impact and the red accents on the wall give a modern, designer’s flair to the new open space.
